The Lahti Symphony Orchestra invites applications for the position of Principal Trombone starting on 19th of August 2024. 

Principal trombone plays at the orchestra and chamber groups and maintains playing capability required by orchestral literature. He/she leads the trombone section by rehearsing, supervising and developing it, and provides instructions for acquiring group assistants and substitutes. We appreciate the experience of similar tasks, good co-operation and interaction skills.

The salary, including the individual pay component and recording supplement is 3351-3620 € per month.

Audition 31st May 2024
• The orchestra will choose the participants to the audition based on the information in the applications
• Invitations to the audition will be sent during Tuesday 30th of April 2024
• The Audition will be held in the Kalevi Aho Hall of the Lahti Music Institute (Hämeenkatu 4, Lahti) on Friday May 31st from 11 a.m. onwards.
• An interview may be included in the audition.
