We are looking for a full-time event coordinator with a knack for facilitating, to fill a fixed-term position. Join our team and offer with us events and services supporting career development!

You will work within Espoo’s Business development Unit, under the supervision of the senior advisor and closely with colleagues responsible for event, business, community and career development services coordination.

Your main tasks will be to:
• lead the coordination and execution of two Career Bootcamp events and collaborate with the team on coordinating and executing both small and large-scale events (10 to 300+ participants).
• Co-facilitate sessions in our career development programs, following established curricula, and serve as the primary host for a range of events.

The person we are looking for:
• Is organized, detail-oriented and systematic.
• Is a people’s person, whose attitude is focused on customer service and participants engagement.
• Performs well in a proactive team and is comfortable working on different events concepts at once, in a project environment.
• Is able to navigate between behind-the-scenes coordination tasks and participants-facing ones.

We require:
- A higher education degree in a relevant field of study.
- At least 2 years' experience in events coordination.
- Experience in training or facilitating and hosting.
- Enough Finnish to communicate with service providers, vendors and other partners, especially when it comes to the logistical aspects of your tasks.
- Excellent writing and speaking English skills.

In addition to English, the most spoken languages in Espoo are Russian, Estonian, Arabic, Somali and Mandarin Chinese. Knowledge of these languages is an advantage.
