Kuntarekry.fi/en is a website, where different municipal organisations and wellbeing services counties can advertise their open jobs. Municipal organisations include municipalities, cities, joint municipal authorities and municipal-owned businesses.
On kuntarekry.fi website you can search vacancies and by creating a job seeker profile
Kuntarekry is not an employer or an employee agency. It is a service for employers to advertise open jobs and process received applications. If you want to know more about an open job, salary or you want to send a tax card to employer, please contact the employer in question.
Go to the login page of the applicant portal by clicking the link in the top right corner of the Kuntarekry.fi website. Then click the Forgot password or username button and enter your email address in the field. Please note that the username will expire if you do not log into your profile for two years. Attachments can be added to the application if the recruiting employer has included the option to add attachments in the application form. Adding attachments is therefore dependent on the employer's recruitment process. The maximum size for attachments is 2MB per file.
You can submit a substitute application in Kuntarekry in two ways:
1. By filling out the employer's own substitute recruitment application form
2. By saving an open substitute application in the Kuntarekry system
Always check first if the employer you are interested in has published their own substitute recruitment announcement (option 1) and apply through that. Employers review substitute applications variably and interview substitute applicants according to their own practices. For more information, read how to apply for substitute work (in Finnish).
Once you have been interviewed and have agreed with the employer to start substitute work, you can receive job offers through the text message service or the substitute calendar. You can adjust your availability for substitutions in the availability calendar, which can be found under the Substitutions tab. More information on adjusting availability can be found here.
You will always receive detailed information about the procedures from the employer, but most often job offers are sent via text messages. Always send your tax card directly to your employer. Kuntarekry is not an employer, only a platform for applying for jobs and receiving shifts. Kuntarekry does not participate in employers' recruitment or administrative activities in any way. The employer is also responsible for providing employment certificates, etc.
